Our trademark attorneys may provide you with services to conduct regular monitoring of trademarks in Russia and in other countries in order to discover attempts of registration by others of those trademarks or marks similar to them. This monitoring allows us to identify new applications for trademark registration, submitted by others and published in the official registers of the Patent Offices.
In the event of finding through the monitoring of publication of new trademarks of third parties, those trademarks may be challenged according to the established procedure, and the grounds for contesting may be, for example, an earlier right to the trademark or an earlier use of the trademark.
